About the Role:
As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organisational strategy and ensuring operational excellence. You will provide visionary leadership to a talented team, fostering a positive, collaborative and inclusive work culture that empowers individuals to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Leading the management and coordination of two portfolios (First Nations and Early Childhood) to ensure differentiated delivery of services and programs to support children, students, families, and communities across the region.
- Actively promoting the importance of the early years to all stakeholders
- Valuing First Nations cultures and voice both within the Department and across agencies to ensure authentic First Nations engagement
- Ensuring the continuous improvement of service delivery across both portfolios
- Developing and implement strategies to strengthen knowledge, business systems and team performance to meet organisational and client needs.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritising the participation and engagement of all children and students in development and learning pathways
