Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Community Engagement is an integral member of the College Leadership Team. Leading a dedicated and multi-faceted team, this role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive community engagement strategy that includes admissions, marketing and communications, alumni, parent groups, key partnerships, and events, to drive enrolments and maintain the College’s strong reputation. Working collaboratively across the College and building authentic connections, the Director of Community Engagement will have a hands-on approach to ensure that all touchpoints reflect the College’s values and vision, fostering lifelong relationships and sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A commitment to the Lutheran values and support of the ethos, vision and mission of the College.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive enrolments, enhance brand and reputation, and build community engagement.
- High level of proficiency in communications and marketing, especially in brand management, written communication, digital and social media.
- Thorough organisational and project management skills, with experience in event planning and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to inspire, motivate and develop a high performing team.
- Ability to build and nurture positive relationships and engage diverse stakeholders both within and beyond the College community.
With a commencement date in June 2025, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, events or a related field.
