About the Role:
The HCMS Program has been established to replace the Department of Education's ageing HR systems with a contemporary Human Capital Management Solution. Over the next two-three years, the program will configure and implement best-fit HCM solutions to enable the Department to adopt current best practices, retain and develop its workforce, and achieve organisational objectives.
The HCMS Program is seeking a skilled and visionary leader to take on the role of Director, Business Enablement.
This role is pivotal in driving the Change Management Strategy and overseeing key functions such as Change and Communications Management Plans, UX Design, Persona Development, and Future State Process Mapping aligned with desired user experiences (UX).
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure change initiatives are seamlessly integrated with organisational goals, driving successful adoption, and enhancing user experiences across the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure effective adoption of change initiatives.
- Create and execute detailed change management and communications plans to engage stakeholders and address their needs.
- Lead UX design efforts and persona development to deliver user-centric solutions and enhance overall user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map future state processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimised UX.
- Conduct impact assessments to identify the effects of proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs and organisational design efforts to support change initiatives.
Capabilities and Desirable Attributes:
- A recognised change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly regarded.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Experience delivering large-scale, complex transformation projects within a HR or similar environment, ideally delivery of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proven success in leading and managing high-performing teams while maintaining quality human and financial resource management practices.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills at a senior level.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and partners to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and implement strategic solutions for large-scale projects.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to support critical project activities.
