About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and dynamic Director with a background in inassurance, financial analysis and stakeholder engagement to lead a high performing team through a number of challenging and important tasks over the 2026 calendar year.
The role requires a leader with expertise in managing assurance processes, a solid understanding of capital funding (especially how it relates to Grammar schools and Universities) and a broad range of skills in financial and data analysis.
Also critical to your role will be the ability to manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder relationships at the highest levels.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering key BSA outputs, such as the annual Statement of Assurance, which includes surveying all Queensland State Schools as well as engaging with Divisional leaders on a range of assurance matters, leading the State Borrowing Program as well as several key data and analytics projects. Performance will be evaluated against how these key programs are delivered.
Your Responsibilities
As the Director, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading BSA to ensure key projects are delivered on time.
- Engaging with external stakeholders on funding of capital projects through the State Borrowing Program.
- Guiding key data, analytics and financial analysis projects, such as the biannual Financial Health Checks.
- Managing and supporting a high performing team.
- Utilising an agile approach to manage often conflicting and urgent priorities.
