Salary: $81,628 - $117,566 per annum + up to 12.75% Super (commensurate with experience)

About the Digital Technologies Primary Role

We are seeking innovative and dedicated educators who will:

  • Inspire Young Learners: Create engaging, hands-on lessons that excite students about technology and problem-solving.
  • Deliver Innovative Learning: Use interactive digital tools, programming, and real-world projects to bring the Australian Curriculum to life.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with teachers to integrate technology across the curriculum, fostering cross-disciplinary learning.
  • Develop Critical Skills: Help students build creativity, teamwork, and digital fluency through project-based learning.
  • Assess and Support Growth: Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback that empowers learning.
  • Engage with the School Community: Collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Commit to Professional Growth: Stay current with the latest developments in Digital Technologies and education trends.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring relevant qualifications and experience, including:

  • Specialisation in Digital Technologies: Experience AND/OR Training or Education in ICT/Digital Technologies, as well as a Bachelor of Education. 
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum, including data representation, digital systems, and programming concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using tablets, interactive whiteboards, coding tools, and educational software.
  • Dynamic Teaching Practices: Proven ability to create interactive and inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learners.
  • Child Safety Commitment: Dedication to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all students.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to Professional Standards: Demonstrated competence in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
