About Woogaroo Creek State School

Woogaroo Creek State School is a P-6 Primary School that opened in January 2023.

Apart from our administration and classroom facilities, our school has a Discovery Centre (Library), music precinct, multi-purpose hall and stage, Rocky's Reserve outdoor environmental area, garden and orchard, canteen, teaching kitchen, sporting field and multi-purpose courts. 

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and dynamic Deputy Principal to join the Leadership Team and set students up to REACH new heights each day.

The successful applicant will embody and drive our WCSS school culture and focus on student success.

The Deputy Principal will undertake roles and accountabilities in line with the school's Deputy Principal Roles and Responsibilities and the 2025 AIP accountabilities, while working as an Instructional Leader.

General Roles and Responsibilities for 2025 may/ will include:

  • Timetabling (Term and Daily)
  • On the ground behaviour support
  • Prep and High School Transition
  • Student Enrolment Sessions/ School Tours
  • Instructional Leadership for a Multi-Age Year Level cohort (Gradual Release of Responsibility and Visible Learning)
