Woodcrest State College is a Prep to Year 12 College with an established reputation for quality education in the Springfield community. Conveniently located across the road from the Springfield Train Station, our specialised Primary and Secondary Schools are resource rich settings with the latest technologies, gymnasiums, laboratories, playing fields, performing and practical arts programs. We also have an Academic Enrichment Program available from Year 7, Sports Excellence in AFL, Volleyball and Basketball and an on site Kindergarten and Trade Training Centre.

About the Role

This role focuses on collaboratively building a strong professional culture amongst all staff to align college processes and ensure school priorities are enacted across the college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff across the Primary and Secondary campuses to identify and implement strategies that improve student learning and achievement across all year levels.
  • Support the development of a whole school approach to pedagogy, integrating technology, and engaging students through innovative pedagogical approaches. Facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider Springfield community.
  • Actively engage stakeholders in the educational process, ensuring open communication and collaboration to create a culture of belonging.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision of the college, working closely with the Principal and leadership team to ensure alignment of curriculum, pedagogy and values across P-12.
  • Advocate for a positive school environment and lead initiatives that promote student voice and well-being.
