The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary, strategic executive leader to fill the combined role of Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and Ministry. This pivotal full-time position provides Christ-centred leadership across our entire Kindergarten to Year 12 community, ensuring every student is deeply known, valued, and supported to develop Christian character.
The successful candidate will seamlessly integrate a biblical worldview with evidence-based wellbeing frameworks, serving as a primary architect for student care, spiritual formation, and character development.
Key Responsibilities

Faith & Strategic Leadership: Model a Christ-like character, leading the K–12 pastoral and ministry teams with grace, integrity, and servant leadership.

Pastoral Care & Character Education: Design and align K–12 pastoral structures for seamless student transitions, and oversee a Character Education framework explicitly mapped to the school’s Enduring Qualities (EQs).

Restorative Culture: Lead the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework, trauma informed and restorative behavioral interventions that prioritize relationship repair, accountability, and gospel values.

Community Partnership: Build strong connections with families, equipping parents with resources on digital safety, mental health, and faith formation.

Compliance & Safety: Serve as one of the primary Child Protection Officers, ensuring strict compliance with legislative mandates and Child Safe Standards.

Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Active and Ongoing Christian Faith: A deep, personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, demonstrating an active and ongoing involvement in a local Christian church.

Educational Leadership: Proven experience in senior or executive leadership within a school environment, with a strong understanding of K–12 pastoral care and wellbeing frameworks.

Strategic Capability: The ability to inspire teams, manage complex student and family needs, and align operational practices with the school’s strategic vision.

Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Leadership, or Theology, alongside NESA accreditation (or eligibility).
