About Urangan State High School
Urangan State High School are seeking applications for an enthusiastic and flexible educational leader to join our executive leadership team as Deputy Principal. Our award-winning school has a population of approximately 1500 students from Year 7 to Year 12. With a focus on implementing the curriculum with fidelity, Urangan State High School have a late start for students every Monday and Friday so that our teachers can collaboratively plan curriculum with alignment and precision. This provides an additional 110 minutes of focused planning time each week to our teachers, improving work/life balance.

About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
