About the Role

The following describes the key strategic and operational elements of the Deputy Principal role Years 4-6.
Strategic:

  • Leading PBL/Behaviour, Student Code of Conduct.
  • Accountable for Student Data 4-6 (Reading, PBL, A-E +N, attendance), Observation and Feedback cycle, Year 6 Transition, Sport, Building Teacher capability.
  • Line Management of Engagement Support Teacher, 4-6 Teachers, Specialist Teachers.

Operational:
4-6 students (enrolment, attendance, behaviour, performance, excursions), IBSPs/ NAPs/ Risk Management Plans, Staff handbook, School Calendars/4-6 events, Duty Timetables, Specialist Timetable, Graduation, Marketing, Newsletter, University Liaison, Pre-Service, ISPs, Complex Case Management.
