About Morayfield State School

Situated in the heart of Morayfield, our school provides education from Prep to Year 6 within a supportive framework of high expectation. Opening in 1873, our school has a proud history, strong community and is committed to the high standard of education for all students. I am honoured to be the Principal of Morayfield State School and lead a fantastic team of teaching and support staff who endeavour to attain the ideals as stated in our school mission statement.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Deputise for the Principal when required.
  • Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
