About Manly State School
Manly State School is a Queensland Government School located in the bayside suburb of Manly in Brisbane. The school caters for students from Preparatory to Year 6.
The history of Manly State School dates back to 1907 when moves were first made to establish a school in the area. It eventually opened on July 4, 1910 with an enrolment of 107 pupils. There are currently 704 students now attending the school.
Manly State School was completely refurbished in 2009 with new buildings and classrooms. All classrooms now boast interactive whiteboards, large withdrawal spaces and storerooms.
All students have multiple opportunities to excel in our academic, music, sporting or leadership programs. Our school prides itself on the caring nature of our staff and students and the high standard of behaviour of our students.
About the Role
Responsibilities include-
- Leading the years 4-6 area of the school.
- Develop positive relationships with students, teachers and parents.
- Lead the school outdoor education program.
- Lead the school PBL program.
- Work as part of a school Leadership team.
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to continue to develop world class programs that are focussed upon quality learning for all students.
