The Deputy Head reports directly to the Headmaster and is a key member of the Executive Team, providing whole-school leadership across teaching and learning, wellbeing, culture, operations and strategic improvement.
The Deputy Head provides executive leadership that ensures coherence, consistency and excellence across the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the School. Working in close partnership with the Headmaster and Executive, the role plays a pivotal part in shaping Christian culture, strengthening professional practice, leading improvement and innovation, and ensuring a seamless student experience. The Deputy Head models servant leadership, supports and empowers senior leaders, and acts as a trusted Deputy to the Headmaster, contributing to policy implementation, risk management and whole-school sustainability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Lead authentically within a Christ-centred Anglican school context
- Provide strategic, whole-school leadership across P–12 education
- Strengthen teaching, learning, wellbeing and professional culture
- Build relational trust with staff, students and families
- Drive improvement through evidence-informed decision-making
- Model humility, integrity and servant leadership
Offered as a full-time CMEA Level 4 ongoing executive appointment, and commencing by start of Term 3, 2026, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and hold, or be eligible for, NSW teacher accreditation and relevant child protection clearances.
