Veritas Education are looking to appoint a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and is looking to gain valuable experience within education.

About the Role

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to classes across KS3-KS4
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensuring students remain on task throughout each lesson
  • Providing support to departments when required
  • Acting as a positive role model for all pupils

    • The School Is Looking For

  • Someone confident in leading a classroom
  • A calm, organised individual with strong communication skills
  • Experience working with young people (youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring, etc.) is highly desirable
  • A professional who can follow safeguarding and behaviour policies effectively

    • Requirements

  • Degree or relevant experience working with secondary-aged students
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • A genuine interest in progressing within the education sector
