Cover Supervisors - Redcar & Cleveland

Location - Redcar & Cleveland

Start date - ASAP

Contract - Daily and Long-term Supply

Pay - £100-£140 p/day

Due to continued growth across Teesside and surrounding areas, Veritas Education are actively recruiting Cover Supervisors to cover both daily and long-term absences across a range of partner secondary schools across the region.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences
  • Deliver pre-planned work set by subject leaders
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students across a range of subjects

    • Veritas Education would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with young people in a school or similar environment
  • Confidence managing classroom of up to 25-30 students
  • A positive, pro-active attitude and strong communication skills
  • Availability for flexible, part-time or full-time supply work.

    • Veritas Education are keen to speak to both experienced classroom supervisors as well as those who may aspire to gain more experience with a larger classroom setting. You might currently be a youth worker, sports coach or teaching assistant?

    You will require a valid DBS on the update service although we can facilitate if needed.
