Cover Supervisor - Full Time or Ad‑Hoc | Secondary Schools | Bradford

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Provider: Veritas Education

Veritas Education is working with a number of well‑established secondary schools across the Bradford area, and we are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support on either a full‑time basis or on flexible ad‑hoc supply.

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced school support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience. You will be responsible for delivering pre‑planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre‑set work to classes across a range of subjects
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils in staying on task and engaging with learning
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding pupil progress

    • Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people (education or similar setting)
  • Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
  • DBS on the Update Service - Essential (or willingness to apply)
  • Flexibility to work full time or on an ad‑hoc basis
