    As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
  • Deliver pre‑prepared work and ensure students remain on task
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students with questions and encourage positive engagement
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and be a consistent, calm presence
  • Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

    • No planning or marking is required-your focus is on delivering lessons confidently and maintaining a productive classroom environment.

  • Interested in developing a career in teaching, pastoral work or wider education
  • Have experience in a school setting, either as a TA or as a Cover Supervisor
