Are you a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in a supportive secondary school environment? Our partner schools in Hillingdon are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their supply pool, providing daily and short‑term classroom cover across a range of subjects.

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety, thrive in busy settings, and are happy to take on last‑minute bookings - including same‑day requests. We welcome candidates with previous Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or Tutor experience who feel comfortable leading a classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences
  • Ensuring students stay on task and follow set lesson plans
  • Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students when needed
  • Communicating with teachers and senior staff when required

    • Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school (essential)
  • Confident managing behaviour and engaging groups of students
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to respond to short‑notice cover
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • A degree or education‑related qualification is beneficial but not essential

    • Requirements:

  • Degree Level Qualifications
  • Expereience working in a school setting
  • DBS Certificate - Online Update Service
  • Satisfactory references covering 2+ Years
