About the Role:

We are seeking dynamic and confident Cover Supervisors to work with secondary school students, delivering general lessons across a range of subjects. The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively is essential. Whether you're looking for daily work or something more long-term, we have a variety of opportunities available in schools across the Bradford area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to secondary students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Maintain good classroom control and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Manage student behaviour effectively, addressing issues promptly and fairly
  • Adapt to different subjects and year groups as needed
  • Work flexibly across various schools, fitting into their unique cultures

    • What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role in a secondary school setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain classroom discipline and follow behaviour guidelines
  • Confidence in covering a range of subjects and year groups
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • A passion for supporting young people in their education
