Position: Cover Supervisor Location: Kirklees, West Yorkshire (Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield, Birstall and Heckmondwike) Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience) Contract: Flexible, Day-to-Day Supply, and long term full time roles available Year Groups: Year 7 to Year 11 Start Date: September 2024

Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in secondary schools? We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working across a range of secondary schools in the Kirklees area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, delivering pre-planned lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Supervise and deliver lessons prepared by subject teachers across a variety of subjects, ensuring students stay on task.
  • Maintain Classroom Control: Manage the classroom environment, ensuring students adhere to school policies and expectations.
  • Support Learning: Assist students with their work where needed, ensuring they understand the tasks set and stay focused.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to cover a range of subjects and year groups as needed.
  • Report and Feedback: Provide feedback on the lesson delivery and any issues to the relevant staff members.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively, in terms of learning and behaviour.
  • Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to engage and motivate students.
