Do you have secondary school experience and a strong understanding of the UK curriculum? Do you have strong behavioural management skills, and are comfortable leading a class? If you have UK secondary school experience, especially within a Cover Supervisor or UQ teacher role, then we would love to speak with you.
Veritas education are working with secondary schools in Haringey to provide Cover supervisors on a short and longer term cover basis. As a Cover Supervisor, your role will include supervising classes during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher, as well as lunch/break time cover, exam invigilating and other cover. As a Cover Supervisor, you are a jack of all trades, helping the school day run smoothly in whatever way necessary.
The right candidate will have strong behavioural management skills, and be able to command a room. They will also be proactive and commited to supporting secondary aged children. It is also vital that you have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum, and are confident supporting students within a variety of subjects.
