Your Opportunity:

As the Corporate Services Officer within our customer focused regional operations team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our senior corporate service officers, infrastructure advisors, schools and regional staff members by providing administrative services across the range of, financial, human resource, infrastructure asset and information management functions. You will also hold a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services, a mandatory requirement for this role.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Undertake work across a broad range of corporate services activities and undertake a narrow range of duties relating to a specific corporate services function.
  • Assist and advise colleagues and managers on human resource, financial, facilities/asset and information management issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of initiatives and systemic priorities as they relate to corporate services within Infrastructure Services Division.
  • Monitor corporate service activities to ascertain needs and compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
  • Maintain and enhance administrative systems and processes to maximise the effectiveness of corporate services within Infrastructure Services Division
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing material and correspondence on human resource, financial, facilities/asset and information management issues.
  • Encourage flexibility, responsiveness and continuous improvement in corporate services administrative activities as they relate to the delivery of infrastructure services.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and consumable stock supplies, equipment repairs, disposal and purchase as necessary.

About You:

  • Ideally you will possess sound financial and administrative skills, strive for excellence in customer service, be responsible for your contributions to the team, possess high attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • We are looking for a flexible, energetic, confident all-rounder with great communication skills in building and maintaining positive key internal and external stakeholder relationships and the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within demanding timeframes.
