About the Role
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the distribution and monitor the review of travel allocation each term including remote schools.
- Develop and implement onboarding and training processes to successfully induct new travel booking officers.
- Develop, implement, and review administrative processes and procedures in a collaborative manner to identify improvement practices that enhance corporate and administrative support services to the unit.
- Administer travel arrangements including domestic travel including flights, accommodation and hire cars in line with departmental procurement policies and procedures, to enable the delivery of the school review schedule.
- Coordinate and organise fortnightly travel meetings with the Director/Manager and review operations team, including managing diary appointments and whilst utilising effective time management practices.
- Process invoices, travel claims, corporate card and cab charge accounts and ensure accuracy adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.
- Provide effective and efficient support to the Program Officer with the termly review team allocation process.
- Coordinate, develop and maintain records, administrative databases, work processes and file management activities including records of incoming correspondence and requests
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all correspondence and administrative documents, using appropriate software programs, adhering to departmental standards to provide relevant advice to Senior Officers.
- Provide confidential effective administrative support, information and advice to management and other staff across the unit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, on administrative, human resources and financial issues.
