The Opportunity
Korowa is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Content and Communications Coordinator with excellent written skills to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this dynamic role, you’ll craft high-quality written content, manage social media platforms, and create impactful digital campaigns. Your work will inform, engage, and inspire our school community, showcasing the Korowa experience.
Key Responsibilities
Source and write engaging content for the school magazine, yearbook, newsletters, blogs, social media and the website.
Plan, create, and schedule social media posts, reels, and videos to foster community interaction.
Capture the vibrancy of school life through photography and videography at events.
Manage the school’s website and intranet content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Working with an agency, monitor social media trends and performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to source and develop impactful stories.
What we are looking for
Korowa seeks a talented writer and digital content creator with excellent people skills who can utilise their skills in developing content for different mediums and audiences to bring Korowa’s mission and values to life.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field.
Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills for diverse audiences.
Experience with social media management, photography, videography, and content creation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Excellent organisational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and long-form video editing.
