Step Into Your Next Chapter:

In this position, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and dependable operation of Balmoral State High School's ICT environment. You will work directly with ICT team, responsible for completing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting the installation and configuration of new equipment and software.

Working under the direction of the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will help minimise downtime, enhance access to technology for staff and students, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained digital learning environment.

You will also support the development and implementation of procedures that promote the safe and effective use of ICT resources, maintain accurate equipment records, and ensure repair tools and supplies are available when needed.

This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safe work practices, and a customer-focused approach when assisting staff with technical needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on school ICT equipment.
  • Assist with installing and configuring hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Support safe operation of ICT resources by following procedures and WHS requirements.
  • Provide technical support for connecting and maintaining networked devices.
  • Maintain equipment records, order ICT parts, and manage repair tools and supplies.
