St Bonaventure's College is a new Brisbane Catholic Education College at Flagstone in Southeast Queensland, Australia (45 mins southwest of Brisbane).
The College will provide a high-quality Catholic education for families in Flagstone and surrounding communities for Prep to Year 12 within the Peet development of Flagstone. The College is within the St Bernadine's Catholic Parish, Regents Park and the College's spirituality will be enlivened through the Franciscan charism.
The College will be co-educational and is master planned for 1,836 students when all stages of development are completed. The state-of-the-art College is proposed to open with Prep to Year 3, and Year 7 enrolments, as well as an onsite OSHC service, run by Catholic Early EdCare.
The College Administration and Enrolments Lead provides a comprehensive range of executive,
professional level and administrative support services to support the College Principal initially in the
establishment of a new College community. The role will support the College Principal and College
Leadership Team in the achievement of the College’s education and operational needs. Initially,
this role will focus heavily on Administration, Communications and Enrolments.
The role assists the College Principal and the College Leadership Team to deliver a responsive
student enrolment program and highly effective office management.
The duties of the College Administration and Enrolments Lead include:
Typical duties performed include, but not limited to:
• [In 2025 administer and co-ordinate the smooth and effective operation of the St
Bonaventure’s College ‘shop front’ at Flagstone Central Shopping Centre]
• Proactively co-ordinate and operate the College’s main reception including: follow-up responses to
parents, student and community enquiries and receipt and dispatch correspondence, and PA
announcements.
• Receive and deal with enquiries within well-established routines, including the provision of general
information and assistance to the public, parents, students and other employees.
• Produce the College’s Weekly Bulletin for staff use.
• Provide support to the College Leadership Team in the daily organisation of the College.
• Perform a range of administration duties, for example, maintaining manual and computerised records,
checking in visitors, handling mail.
• Maintain and manage College Portal, SharePoint document library and College Calendar.
• Monitoring of the general College email account ‘psflagstone’ and the enrolments email ‘enrolflagstone’.
• Main delivery point for College, able to direct deliveries as required.
• Operate within well-established routines, office equipment, such as, computer, photocopier, binding
machine, guillotine, laminator etc.
• Process over the counter payments as required.
• Provide administrative support (as required) to College Principal and members of Leadership Team.
• Provide end-to-end administrative support for recruitment processes for all staffing matters in accordance
with enterprise policy (ie Ignite, BCE jobs online etc)
• Administer all online enrolment applications and follow up on relevant paperwork including online
payment application fee.
• Refer all enrolment applications to College Principal for review, and in accordance with established
processes, arrange 1-1 interviews and enrolment evenings, including invitations and follow ups to
parents and enrolment evening set up including hospitality.
• Arrange all College tours throughout the year.
• Within routines, methods and procedures undertake liaison between the College, the student and the
student’s family where some discretion and judgement are involved.
• Apply proficiency in eMinerva processing, data entry and report generation across student enrolments.
• Enrolment acceptance documents – checked for accuracy in conjunction with Finance officer (or
Business Manager) and record information in eMinerva.
• Preparation of student files for new student intake for following year.
• Update all permissions in eMinerva, (including media consent) and student details for all students
from BCE feeder schools once confirmed as SBC student.
• Provide regular reports and updates to both College Principal and Business Manager of enrolment
numbers.
• Students leaving the College – liaise with Head of College, and Assistant Principals – advice to families
for return of devices, books and locker checks.
• Provide assistance as required for Orientation Day for new students and new family information
evenings.
• Assistance with Census and other BCE compliance matters as required.
• Other duties as may be required by the College Leadership Team.
Skills and Abilities:
• A commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education and St
Bonaventure’s College.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and eMinerva database (preferred but not essential)
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the position.
