About the School:
William Ross State High School is a co-educational secondary school in Townsville, catering for students in Years 7-12. About the Role:
These are permanent 30-hour per week positions, working a daily split shift, 5 days a week. There is also the opportunity to work additional hours to cover some school holiday periods.
Responsibilities include:
- All aspects of cleaning and sanitising across a variety of areas - general classrooms and staffrooms, Manual Arts areas, Home Economics areas, Special Education classrooms, Sports and Multi-purpose Halls, Gymnasium, Library and main office areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bay
- Maintaining equipment, and appropriate use of chemicals
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Securing buildings, and activating and disarming school security systems
