About Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre
Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre (TEEC) has been providing outdoor and environmental educational opportunities for students in Far North Queensland, on and around Lake Tinaroo, since 1987.
One centre, two campuses: 'Black Gully' and 'Barron River'.
We believe that every student can play a part in caring for our fragile and beautiful planet, and that all students can learn to live in a sustainable way that ensures they leave a small ecological footprint on our planet.
Children are growing up in an ever-changing world and need to learn to be navigators of their own life's course. We attempt to develop the social and emotional skills required to navigate that course through a range of inspirational and motivational activities.
