About the Role
As a Cleaner at Nerang State School, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by performing a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, furniture, and floors.
- Maintaining hygiene in toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Managing rubbish disposal and litter control, including cleaning outdoor surfaces and drains.
- Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings and managing security systems.
- Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to a positive school environment.
About You
