About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our school by maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and common areas.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment and ensuring proper storage.
- Performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
- Managing waste disposal and ensuring the cleanliness of outdoor areas.
- Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.
This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaising with school staff.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices (advantageous).
