About the School
Morven State School, established in 1887, is located in the Darling Downs South West region and is a part of the Charleville State Schools cluster. It is situated 90 km east of Charleville and 180 km west of Roma on the Warrego Highway. Morven has a population of approximately 150 residents and is surrounded by a rural community consisting of sheep, goat and cattle properties. The main industry is primary production while the businesses include a post office, grocery store, newsagent, roadhouse, hotel and motel. The town has regular rail services, a twice daily bus service going both east and west and agents for several transport companies. Our town is well serviced with a two person police station, health clinic, library and public hall.
Your Responsibilities
As the Cleaner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, toilets and shared school facilities
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety are maintained
- Safely use and store cleaning equipment and products
- Work independently while contributing positively to the school team
- Support a welcoming and well-presented school environment
