St John's College, Woodlawn is a co-educational Catholic Secondary College situated in a charming rural setting 5km from Lismore and just over half an hour from Ballina and Byron Bay. The current enrolments are around 770.

CLEANER / MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS

Casual Position is currently available to fulfil the above duties as required

Applicants must:

  • hold a current/valid NSW Working with Children Check 
  • a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • hold a current First Aide Certificate
  • the successful applicant will also be actively willing to support the Catholic Ethos of the school and support school extra curricula events
  • have basic Computer skills

 Criteria: 

  • understand the work environment by, learning quickly to use and maintain, equipment, materials and chemical supplies
  • apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning and maintenance equipment and materials
  • handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality and awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment
  • ability to be flexible with hours when required
  • ability to carry out cleaning / maintenance / ground duties with limited supervision and cooperatively participate as a team member
