Cleaning shifts are 2-5pm four days per week and 1-5pm one day per week (to be negotiated) during term time. The successful applicant will work additional time per week to enable time off during school holidays.

School cleaners play a vital role in the school community by reducing the spread of disease through high standards of cleaning practices and keeping the appearance of the school at a high standard. It is the responsibility of school cleaners to deliver a clean and hygienic learning environment for all students.

As the Cleaner you will:

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.

Successful applicants must hold a valid Blue Card (or be able to obtain) and will be subject to a Criminal History Check.
