About the Role
As a Cleaner at Gumlu State School, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a clean, safe, and welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors. This part-time position involves working approximately 2-3 hours daily, Monday to Friday.
Work Schedule:

| Tuesday | 2.5 hours |
| Wednesday | 2.5 hours |
| Thursday | 3 hours |
| Friday | 3 hours |
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and common areas.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment and surfaces, including windows, floors, and furniture.
- Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds.
- Activating and deactivating security systems, and locking/unlocking buildings as required.
- Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.
This role would suit someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment for others.
About You
