About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities, ensuring a positive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and communal areas, including windows, floors, and furniture.
- Maintaining toilet facilities and sick bays to a high standard of hygiene.
- Managing waste disposal and litter control, including clearing drains and gutters.
- Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings.
- Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, values a clean and safe environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive school community.
About You

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting issues.
- Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles (beneficial but not essential).
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
