Bremer State High School has proudly served the Ipswich community for over six decades, established in 1959 with just 120 foundation students. About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all internal areas, including windows, furniture, fixtures, toilets, sick bays, and floor surfaces.
- Clean and maintain external areas, including paved surfaces, drains, gutters, graffiti removal, and litter control.
- Operate, clean, and maintain cleaning equipment, including hosing, sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and polishing floors.
- Manage cobweb, mildew, dust, and high-reach cleaning using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure site security by locking/unlocking buildings and activating/disarming security systems.
- Liaise with school leadership regarding supplies, report safety/security issues, and direct visitors to appropriate personnel.
