About Biggenden State School

Biggenden State School is a band 7 school located in Central Queensland District and is geographically situated Wide Bay Burnett Region. The school is set in a rural community approximately 80 kilometres west of Maryborough.  It is a co-educational institution, offering learning opportunities for students in years prep to year 10. Biggenden has a town population of about 860 with a district population of around 1700. 

About the Role

As the Cleaner you will:

  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
  • Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.

The Cleaner, reports to the school Principal or nominated delegate. In a non-school location the cleaner reports directly to the Site Manager.

Mandatory requirements:

  • When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
