St Gerard Majella School is a co-educational Catholic primary school in the Cairns southern suburb of Woree. With a healthy enrolment of around 400 students from Prep to Year Six, the school has always been a highly regarded and well sought-after Catholic primary school.

About the Role
This teacher will plan and prepare effective, quality learning and teaching programs and practices, which are consistent with the National Standards, Diocesan, and school-based learning area plans and policies. They will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, which is inclusive, learner-centered, and academically challenging. Job share or part time arrangements may be considered for a Fixed Term ending 16th January 2026.
Work Requirements
- Be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers
