About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and committed person, to join our community as a Classroom Support Assistant (CSA) commencing in Semester One 2025.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing the mission of JPC by fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Through active collaboration with teachers and staff, they will help create opportunities for students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications
- Completion of Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support; or
- Third year or final year of study and completion of the practicum in a relevant initial teacher education (ITE) qualification.
- Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registration.

Selection Criteria
- An ability to assist in implementing an effective model of service to support teachers in the classroom.
- An understanding and appreciation of the learning and social needs of such students and their families.
- An ability to use initiative, discretion, and judgment in planning, organising, and achieving outcomes under time constraints.
- Capacity to provide specialist technical advice, direction, and assistance in the area of expertise using skills and knowledge relevant to the qualification for this level.
- Capability to resolve complex problems and coordinate work within their department.

- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.
- This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.
