Classroom and Learning Support / Teacher Assistant - Trade Industries

(potential to progress to a teaching career pathway)

Part time temporary position commencing Term 2, 28 April 2025 for the remainder of the 2025 school year

Applicants must: 

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
   

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria: 

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to assist students in all aspects of the curriculum, implement programs, document student adjustments and support students in the College Workplace Learning Program
• practical knowledge and experience in trade industries (Automotive; Construction; Electrotechnology; Furniture Making; Manufacturing & Engineering; Plumbing) would be an advantage
