About the role:

As the Business Support Officer you will:

  • Coordinate and assist with the provision of services, across the range of administrative, human resources and financial management functions.
  • Resolve issues and assist in the implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of the Regional Operations and Corporate Governance Team.

Responsibilites include:

  • Provide operational advice and support relating to the delivery of administrative, human resource and financial services.
  • Ensure administrative, human resource and financial management systems are developed, implemented and maintained.
  • Understand the legislative frameworks, acts, awards and whole of government directives and departmental policies and procedures for human resource management and financial services.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, corporate card management and accounts reconciliation using a range of financial management systems.
  • Human Resource, Financial and administrative document management including assistance with the preparation of reports.
  • Undertake financial analysis and financial planning to support the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Support and prepare recruitment and selection processes and maintain human resource material including role descriptions.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all activities, correspondence and administrative documents.
  • Utilise and maintain a range of recording and tracking tools that support staffing, learning and development and recruitment processes.
