Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Business Studies lessons for KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum, covering topics such as marketing, finance, business management, and economics.
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and an understanding of the commercial world.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business Studies exams, ensuring they meet or exceed their target grades.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a passion for business and enterprise.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and changes in the Business Studies curriculum.
  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, with experience teaching at the secondary level (KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting student progress and achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
