About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake the day to day supervision and management of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance (working in collaboration with the Principal for any difficult performance management situations); identifying workforce capability requirements; and role modelling performance standards. In addition, this role will oversee for school support staff the signatories/approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, arrange relief for teaching and non-teaching staff; and organise, undertake and coordinate the recruitment, induction and training of school support staff.
- Management of key facility staff (Cleaning and Grounds/Facilities Team) to improve, maintain and enhance school facilities to create a safe and inviting learning environment for Students.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Applicants must demonstrate proactive and enthusiastic management styles to deliver a range of corporate services and lead systemic change in relation to an everchanging HR environment. Whilst being a critical member of our team, they must also demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and independently on complex tasks requiring the interpretation of information and adaptation of processes, whilst adhering to strict deadlines, and audit guidelines.
- Demonstration of experience would be a distinct advantage.
