About the Role:

The successful applicant will support the Principal and the Executive Team in:

  • Financial Management including budget development ensuring financial activities are in accordance with operational plans, guidelines, audit requirement and legislation.
  • Human Resource management to include support staff workforce planning, leading change, implementing Performance Development Plans and leading the support staff workforce to be their best.
  • Facilities / asset management and assisting the Principal in enhancing facilities within the school and within purchasing policy guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn many complex programs including the financial and human resources packages used by the Department of Education.
  • Demonstrate considerable autonomy, ensuring business service outcomes are achieved; leading diverse teams; and playing a proactive role in modelling service delivery and expectations within a dynamic school environment.
  • Build networks with other Business Managers, staff and community representatives to ensure the provision of corporate services meets best practice, and act as a role model for talent within the network.
