About Us:

Serviceton South State School was officially opened on 11 September, 1963. Enrolments rose rapidly, from 253 on opening day to approximately 1 000 in the early 1970s. We are a proud multi-cultural school, and celebrate our diverse backgrounds through a range of cultural activities throughout the year.

Positive culture for learning is the basis on which we are able to support every student in the school.  We have a strong focus on social wellbeing for students and staff across the school.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Deliver high-level business and administrative services autonomously, interpreting information and adapting processes within a complex school environment.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including preparing reports and correspondence, identifying issues, conducting research, and recommending solutions.
  • Lead and manage school support staff, including supervision, performance monitoring, workforce planning, recruitment, induction, training, and approval of timesheets and leave.
  • Support financial management by assisting with budgeting, overseeing expenditure, payroll and purchasing, producing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
  • Oversee facilities and resource management, build professional networks, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to support staff, students, and the wider school community.
