MacGregor State High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Business Manager (Human Resources) to join our team. This role will require to start at approximately 6:30am to manage daily teaching and support staff supervisions.

The main duties of the position include:

  • Undertake day to day supervision and management of cleaning team
  • Coordinate and manage HR processing for support staff: school support staff the signatories/approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, arrange relief; and organise, undertake and coordinate the recruitment, induction and training.
  • Coordinate and manage daily teaching and support staff supervisions through Oneschool.
  • Organising and managing supply and contract placements for both teaching and support staff
  • Management and administration of school budget Solutions
  • School blue card management
  • Providing assistance to staff on employment conditions, pay and leave, MyHR, contracts and claims
  • Assist Business Manager with Support Staff management
  • Induction of new staff including the facilitation of mandatory training
  • Provide operational support and advice on a range of human resource matters to enable informed decision making.
  • Coordinate work to meet deadlines and commitments and to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Line management of cleaners and management of hours
  • Ensure compliance with government legislation, directives and departmental policies that impact on human resource management and payroll administration services.
