State of the Art facilities underpin highly individualised programs for students in Prep to Year 12 with severe disability, including an intellectual disability. As the Business Manager you play an important role in contributing to the school's motto of “Together we can Achieve the Extraordinary” and will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative and financial management of the school.

About the Role

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate autonomously in the provision of business services to the school in an environment that at times exhibits a degree of complexity and frequently requires the interpretation of information and adaption of processes;
  • Provide a comprehensive range of administrative support (e.g., preparation of reports and correspondence) and identify problems, conduct research, seek expert advice, recommend solutions;
  • Support the Principal with the preparation and administration of the budget, undertaking day to day financial activities (e.g., reviewing school expenditure, managing payroll and purchasing, providing financial reports from OneSchool);
  • Undertake the day-to-day supervision and management of the school's support staff (Administration, Cleaning, Grounds, Facilities) including the approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, arrange relief and organise, undertake and coordinate recruitment, induction and training;
  • Provide a range of HR support including electronic timesheet management, the processing of all Casual/Temporary/Permanent contracts and submission of relevant paperwork to HR and payroll;
  • Management of the school's Asset data base on OneSchool including the entry of new assets (P&A, LVA and Capital assets); equipping and asset disposal.
