About the Role:

The Business Manager - Partnerships manages service delivery to support student enrolments and activities, marketing, parent liaison and front-of-house officers.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Undertake the day to day supervision, management of, and continuous improvement processes for Enrolments, Student Activities, Marketing and Concierge.
  • Enrolments: Policy interpretation, student enrolment management, student invoicing, payments, refunds, debt management, data systems, form management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Student Activities: Coordinate logistics for excursions, camps, mini-schools and other school events. Monitor and advise on suitable locations for student activities, and oversee resource/equipment management used for student activities.
  • Marketing: Oversee newsletters, social media, website, publications, branding, merchandise and student and staff uniforms including School Calendar Management
  • Concierge: Client service interactions and timelines
  • Provide a comprehensive range of administrative support (e.g. preparation of reports, and correspondence) and identify problems, conduct research, seek expert advice, recommend solutions.
  • Undertake the day to day supervision and management of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance (working in collaboration with the Deputy Principal for any difficult performance management situations); identifying workforce capability requirements; and role modelling performance standards. In addition, this role will oversee for school support staff the signatories/approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, arrange relief; and organise, undertake and coordinate the recruitment, induction and training of school support staff.
  • Operates autonomously within a sector of the school's business services, requiring interpretation of policy and procedures, information and adaptation of processes in a complex environment.
