Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- Support the Principal and leadership team in the administration and management of a school budget. Contribute to financial planning processes including developing, planning, monitoring and reviewing the annual school budget in SBS, regularly reporting to the school management team and ensuring that financial activities comply with legislation and policy. Conduct analysis and provide information and advice to the Principal regarding the school's financial situation.
- Lead and manage diverse teams of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance (working in collaboration with the Principal for any difficult performance management situations); identifying workforce capability requirements; and role modelling performance standards. In addition, this role will oversee for school support staff the signatories/approval of timesheets, leave applications, rosters, arrange relief for planned leave and organise, undertake and coordinate the recruitment, induction and training of school support staff.
- Collaborate with the Principal on workforce planning, oversee a range of HR operations (eg, staff contracts, staff leave, managing SBS staffing profile, recruitment, induction, training, vacancy processing, rehabilitation processes.) Work with the Principal in leading change within the school support staff, ensuring human resource practices conform. to current standards and awards/conditions
- Provide facilities management advice and project management (e.g. evaluate new work and projects in collaboration with the Principal; negotiate with external contractors; make recommendations and decisions in collaboration with the Principal; facilitate repairs and maintenance, manage and review the Minor Works, planned and unplanned maintenance budgets).
