Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.

About the Role 

We are seeking a skilled Business Applications IT Officer to bring IT expertise in solution design, implementation, IT governance, and analysis to our team. In this role, you will support and continuously improve applications and data platforms essential for school and system-wide administration. You will play a key role in enabling data-informed decision-making across our schools and central systems, ensuring technology solutions are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals.

Selection Criteria 

  1. Comprehensive experience in business to IT solution analysis, design and problem-solving.
  2. Experience in database design, database management, data warehousing, data integration, data analysis and/or data integrity solutions.
  3. Experience in the development and/or implementation of contemporary browser-based applications.
  4. Advanced level of skills with relevant technologies and domains including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure data environments, Azure DevOps, Power BI, .Net development.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
